An overview of the book we'll be using for these first few sessions:

Anyway, Ajax is basically a way to program something like AWBW. All in browser, with communication between the server and your browser making it so that you don't have to load a million individual webpages for each possible individual case. Instead, there will be one game page, and all moves will be done on that game page. How do you ask?

That's mostly Greek to me, and probably something in there it's Greek to you. The book claims to be able to give introductory lessons on each of the concepts we'll be needing. That's all we'll need for now.

This takes way too long to both study and talk about this. You get a short snippet, not the whole thing from now on lol.

I've programmed with ajax a bit, and you're on the right track. It's very good for making a nice front-end for a server-based game like AWBW.

The only reason I started it is because your thing looked as though if it would take years.

So far I'm just making sure I know XHTML/CSS before starting on JavaScript.

EDIT: We seem to have two different projects already up and started. I can do more as a gameplay wizard then I can as a programmer - consider this sort of project on hold for a long long time.
