Hi there, I've made surprising strides with the project in the past two days.
I have to admit that as I tidy it and refactor it back a hidden structure is emerging. The whole project is infact not disorganised at all it is quite well organized, just not packaged. There is still a lot of redundancy and layers of abstraction to get to but looking at the source tree now, the project seems very clearly labeled by function.

Well, that's good to know that the former heads of project enjoyed good programming practice.

I think we should start from scratch, brainstorm on the classes needed and start making a stable version.
Lessons have been learnt, problems have been solved, improvements are demanded...
what do you think

Well when you say start from scratch, if we are moving to a new framework that is what we are doing.
We will port over all of the original functionality but the portability of the code is extremely limited. However we will constantly cite it as an answer to the problems.
Yeah we can start brainstorming some classes as well.
