Could somebody explain me what infono, nosecco means

The var can be found in MainMenu.java as part of the coSelection.
The separated menu can be found in menus.CoSelectMenu. If somebody is willing to dive into the coSelection code and dev it. as I don't understand 100% what's going on. example is infonon and nosecoo altCostumes, ...

atm it uses cursorX and cursorY to identify the position, I would rather have it to extend Menu and use setCurrentMenuItem
I think it could be improved in terms of readability, the painting code is ok.

I would assume nosecco would mean that you've selected to play with just one single CO - Eg, not playing a Tag Battle.

This code was part of old architecture. I'll attempt to explain it the best I can.

infono is short for "infonumber". It is used to grab information displayed when calling up the information screen for COs (To see this, go to the CO select screen and press 'c'). In essence, infono corresponds to the index of the selected CO.

Xenisis is correct, nosecco means that no second CO has been selected.

altCostumes stems from a time when sprite sheets included alternative costumes. This determines whether the code draws the standard costume or the alternative costume when drawing from the CO sprite sheet (To see this, go to the CO select screen and press 'a').
