Okay, I was playtesting a 3Player FFA this morning, and BM were getting their asses kicked by GE. 'Cause I didn't want GE to take them over (otherwise i'd be overpowered), I started prioritising attacks on GE. However, BM kept attacking me >_>

So yeah, I know this is complex, and may not get added in for a long time, but can we program the AI to notice when there's a larger threat, and you're helping them out, and they stop attackign you, and start attacking the larger threat?

Obviously, it couldn't work with 2P maps, but it could be a nice addition to multiplayer maps.

Also, you could add an "agression" rating to each CO, the higher it was, the least likely they would be to create a temporary alliance.

Thoughts?

Would make some interesting scenarios, and would mean that in cases such as yours, you wouldn't be fighting multiple fronts... But as you said, this isn't going in anytime soon.
