I was wondering exactly what the execution of all these campaigns is going to be. Will it be AW1 style (linear, but get to choose some 'forks in the road', some secret missions), AW2 style (nonlinear, player chooses the missions they take, virtually no secret missions), AWDS style (dead linear, some secret missions), or some other style that I can't even think of? It'd probably be a good idea to get it down on paper before you go off making a jillion missions.

I think it's AW:DS style, . Then again, there are things to be said for AW1's campaign style, most especially the branching missions.

Then again, an AW1-style campaign for each country would be big and long... perhaps too many missions, I dunno. Too much variety, perhaps?

Indeed. The fact I actually know someone who wrote Sailor Moon Cannibal Slash proves this point. ~Xenesis

Yeah, I agree, it's far too much work to make it branch as the amount of maps is tripled if not more, afterall there were only 3 COs to choose from in AW1's campaign.

AWDS FTW, but with hints of AW1 thrown in, like the final battle COs dependant on what you did in the campaign.

I'll probably have a few branching missions, but almost more in the AW2 style. So, you can pick whether you want the next Idealist mission or the next Merc mission, but you have to do both mission before moving in both plots.

If all your posts are like this, you truly have earned the right to clog up Xen's servers with stuff that isn't shoddy CCOs. ~Pichu
