Name your preferred number of COs for the campaign. OS, BH, and PG don't have to vote on this since they can get their own numbers. We take the average and round to the nearest whole.

Chess:
Sven:
Xaif:
Thrawn: 10
Kosh: 9

EDIT: Also, don't be a smartass and vote for less than 5.

Well, I'm finding that a 4/4 split is a bit hard to write for. It just seems to have too few characters to play with. I could do it if need be, but I wouldn't mind one more on each side. So I guess I'd say 10...

But I'm fine with 8 total as well. I just like the idea of a few more options...

*passes out 'Vote Vlad' flyers*

<_<

>_>

Anyway, I thought this was a maximum. If Sven (or anyone else) wants to use less than that, why should we stop him?

Because one random country having less COs than the rest is tacky.

If Sven really doesn't want more than 7, then I suppose we can make some less arbitrary exceptions, like allowing AC and JC to have more since they're new. But I don't want a situation where it's...

OS: 9 COs
BM: 8 COs
GE: 6 COs
YC: 9 COs
AC: 10 COs
JC: 12 COs

Simply because it's tacky and weird. It makes it look like we just couldn't come up with enough characters for some countries because we were lazy.

I'm fine with having uneven numbers for countries. I think seven is a good minimum, though.

I'm fine with the current 8. If we enforce a limit and it's less than 8, then I'll have to boot a CO, and that would not be pleasant.

Still, I don't quite see what's wrong with uneven numbers, as long as they're not all spread out like Silifi's example. If one of the managers wants 1 more or 1 less than the "limit", it shouldn't be prohibited.

More than 8 is a bit much, though (IMO).

More than 8 is a bit much if you don't have factions. I'm going to basically be writing two stories with 4 each. While it's possible, it's not easy. Sure, I'll have a few guest COs (Andy and Max helping the Idealists, if Lego's current plot is what happens, in addition to a few DA COs helping Yukio), but I'd like a few more AC spots even if I have to introduce them halfway into the campaign...

I also don't plan on having that many CCOs available per mission. I'll probably keep it at 3 - 4 per mission...

I agree with you Thrawn. For AC atleast, anywhere between 8 and 10 works.

Actually, I think I'm going to settle with 10 for JC. That 10 isn't definite though and it's pretty much for speculation; I just want it to be there in case I see more awesome COs than I thought there would be.

10 seems good for AC seeing as they have 2 factions.

My thoughts on each number:

7: For YC it could be done. I could give Shino a Hachi role, where he's a cameo rather than taking up a campaign spot. He won't be playable until after mission 25 anyway, and is mainly there for story purposes.

8: What I'd prefer, it's a good number.

9+: We don't have a need for any more ATM, and I agree with Thrawn that 9+ COs would be quite difficult to work with, it'll turn into an RPG fest where there are more characters than you can count and know literally nothing of each's personality.

I think BM, YC and GE should have 8 COs, and also AC and JC. With AC having it's faction thing, then 10 for 5 each ways seems fine as an exception, but I don't know about JC. If there's roles for characters then fair enough, but I'd like to stick to the norm and have non-OS and DA armies have the same number of COs.

Stick 8 up for me.

Okay...

OS: 9?
BM: 8
GE: 7
YC: 8
BH: 11
AC: 10
JC: 10
PG: 10?

I suppose giving Sven a small exception since his campaign is probably going to be somewhat different from everyone else's to begin with isn't too bad. Although I'd prefer if YC and BM kept 7 COs.

If there's a good reason to keep BM with 7 COs, then I'll do it. I just don't see why...

Leave BM with 8. They've all been voted in.

Requesting OS number be boosted to 10, or boot Hachi off the list and keep it at 9.
