Hello everybody! I really like AW and I was working on a port of the game for the Android OS, then I also found this forum and realized all the great work that was already done and was already a great game. I have noticed that this forum is not as active as it used to be but still there is a lot of potential and we can make a great work :).

So I want to know what people think about this. CW for Android!

If you are very serious about this notion... I don't mind at all joining your efforts since I too have a bit of experience and we also are trying to port the game onto both the Android and Apple devices. As of now, the best way to contact me is through PM if you want to get contact information.

How much progress have you done on the game so far?

Not sure if porting CW to iOS (or even android) is a good idea... that just sounds like asking for trouble if you know what I mean

Actually Narts,

I understand your concern about it. CW is about making a simulator that can simulate AW, it is not really about blatantly copying it. Java is very versatile, and can actually push the boundaries of the project to Android and iOS devices easier by using Javascript as a base. So, in reality, it is more about making a web application that is capable of being played on the devices, rather than making a full CW app in the Apple store. This project is about making tile-based games accessible to the masses, and really that is mostly what is driving me to continue this. After all this time, we still just don't have a solid creator for making this type of game.
