 Post subject: Steath Craft (new steath idea)

ok before you flame me saing that this unit has been made before i looked. i just want to know the viablity of this unit not the current stats.

Defence: 10 less than the artillery craft.

Weapon 1: Missle Launcher

Weapon 1 Damages: 3/4 the power of an missle launcher, but is a direct. (range 1-1)


Weapon 2: for now none

special ability while in steath it cannot be seen unless next to the an opponent's unit. it cannot be attacked by a primary weapons of direct units while steathed, but can be attacked be by indirect's primary weapon. if it runs out of fuel on land it loses its ability to steath.


note, every thing is subject to change nothing is final, this is just a theory.

it is advisable for units in a military combat game to have weapons whenever possible v_v

unless you are suggesting a transport unit, in which case I doubt you will succeed :(

your goal here, otherwise, would be to make this unit in a way so that it does not render the B. Craft and the A. Craft entirely useless...

That'll be fairly difficult, since both are already pretty useless on most maps.

Yeah, which is why leon89 will need all of the wit and craft available to him in order to pull this off successfully.

The odds are staked against him, of course; it would be difficult to get ANY unit into the game at this stage, I'd reckon, particularly a variant on a unit which is already used sparingly.
But I've seen miraculous things done before.

I think you need to ask yourself, leon...

i had a few ideas, so i changed it
every thing is suject to balancing
what i really want to know is what do you think of primary weapons cannot attack, this unit while steathed. i'm working on a damage chart, but i know little about balancing units.
