Yeah, a custom infantry unit, I know you all are so excited. >_> But I think this one might have some merit. Are you ever in a match on a small map nearing the endgame. Some of your properties have been stolen and you're low on income. The enemy starts sending bomber en masse. The only way to defend yourself is build anti-airs, but the enemy kills them as soon they are built. Basically, you're totally screwed. That's why I thought you should have some unit that you can fight back with.

Stats

Price: 3000
Movement: Mech 2
Weapon: Footsoldier Missle
Attack Power:
B-Copter: 60%
T-Copter: 80%
Bomber: 55%
Fighter: 45%
Zeppelin: 75%
Maybe it could small damage to vehicles for cleanup purposes?
Defense:
Slightly weaker against vehicles than a mech, but it has very high defense bombers and zepps. Same against copters.

What do you think?

Well, perhaps it can have an anti-air bazooka primary that ONLY fires on air, and a Machine gun secondary.

Yes, that gives it crap damage against vehicles. But that's what balance is for.

Yes, you're totally screwed, therefore you lose. And you lose because your opponent was better, not because you had no AAir infantry.

Well.... I thought custom infantry were like "NO" or was that indirect infantry... hmmm i think it was anywhoo.

Well the first off maybe a price higher than 3000? Like 4000. That being said I can't see this unit having much point. Air Units can move alot further than a Mech Unit can & Infantry units are based around attacking first and avoiding being attacked so the AA Concept really doesn't work.

Oh and no way should it be able to fire on ground units. S machine gun to round up other infatry would be acceptable thought.

This being said If your opponent keeps on blowing up your AA Units then there's no point making a AA Infantry with even lower defence than the AA Unit itself.

It sounds more like an annoyance desperation type unti than actual unit that would be used in many games.

I don't like this idea what so ever... normally when you have entered the phase of "battle of britain" you have lost to your oppponent. The fact you allowed him to secure enough funds to spam out bombers is more than enough to convinve me the match has ended and instead of delaying the inevitable by creating a unit I saw we keep it out so that people that are losing will allow the game to end quicker ;)
