OK. this is how this works.

Approximately 24 hours from the time of this posting, I will post the CO creation rules in this topic.

The rules will include a list of attributes that can be used as building blocks to create your CO.

Each attribute can be taken only once. This means they will be served on a "first come, first served" basis. If you take too long to make your CO, you will be left with the scraps while the good attributes are taken. (while I've tried to make sure the attribute costs are fair, they almost certainly aren't)

Once you have posted your CO design AND someone else has posted theirs after you, your CO becomes locked and you can no longer edit it. This means that if you are too hasty in making your attribute picks you may overlook something and end up with a suboptimal CO. Decide quick, but decide careful.

If your CO breaks the CO design rules, you will have to fix it before someone else posts their CO or they will get first dibs on the attributes you have chosen. Everything in your CO is freely available to anyone until your CO is legal.

We need a minimum of four players, but I will take a maximum of eight (myself included). I will not make my CO before at least three people before me have made theirs.

You can spend as much or little effort as you want on the creative part of your CO. The minimum you need to join the tournament is the stats. Creatives are not subject to the "locking rule", meaning you can edit them even if others have posted after you. If you want me to include a theme in the build, better put it somewhere I can download it in ogg format.

I will lock the CO creation phase once we have 8 CO's or once I decide to. After that, no one can join and no one can edit their CO's (bar the creative sections). Then I will make a special build of CW (latest beta, which is 27 I think) with everyone's CO included. Programming will probably take some time, so have patience.

The games will be played in AW:DS mode with custom units banned and otherwise standard tournament settings, on standard fair maps, some of which may include naval fronts, in a standard single elimination bracket, with seeding based on perceived/guessworked skill of the players. Everyone must use the CO they made.

OK here are the CO creation rules

-A bland CO has no d2d, a 1 star power and a 2 star power both giving 110/110 stats
-Attributes are stacked on top of blandie.
-The total point cost of the CO cannot exceed 1500
-the star cost of a power attribute is added to the base cost of the power. The total cost of a power can not exceed 10 stars. The powers must have different star costs from each other.
-The CO can have max 3 D2D skills, max 2 weaknesses, and max 5 power attributes.
-2nd D2D skill costs +50 extra, 3rd +100 (weaknesses don't count)
-4th and 5th power attribute cost +200 each
-Attributes that are simply different multiplications of the same effect can not be stacked within the same power or d2d. So no taking "+10ATK" and "+20ATK" as your power to create a cumulative +30ATK boost! HOWEVER, it is possible to stack together effects that have different conditions, for example, taking "+10ATK for all units" and "+10ATK for infantry" is perfectly possible, and will result in infantry having +20 attack! Also having +10ATK and +20ATK in different powers is possible, and they stack with any d2d attack boosts.

scop is only 9? I thought it was 1 base for each COP and SCOP (ie. captain blandy is xX) so +1* cop would be xxX and +7 stars to SCOP would be xxXXXXXXXX

Asterisk and Darxio: The fourth and fifth power attributes cost 200 extra. Both your CO's are illegal due to overcost.

delta: Don't think of them as COP and SCOP. They're just two powers with an independent star cost from each other. Whichever costs more is the "super". You can't have both powers having the same cost.

u wanna capture with 120 def or something?

didn't anticipate massive firepower abuse

in reality I didn't "anticipate" anything in particular, I just made a CO I knew would be good by AWDS standards lol
