Inspired by my own signature, I decided to edit pictures of consumer goods/logos to make them Advance Wars themed!

Many of my jokes will be obvious, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Image
My first picture is my new (and more fitting) avatar! New Quaker Instant Grits now add +1 range and +20% firepower to your indirect units!
(Side effects include -10% decrease in direct unit firepower. +1 range not applicable in Balance Mode)

More to come...

Well... my pictures were made using MSPaint, so the editing is of really low quality.

One example is...

In Wars World, the Only Lucky Charm is the Blue Moon.

Also, I don't see what's wrong with Andyboy being a brand name. I actually went to find a picture of it, edit it, and upload to my Photobucket account.

There's Microsoft Sidewinder. X3 Adder can be as thin as a joystick. haha

...or Black Adder played by Rowan Atkinson could work.

MS Paint is rather limited, although conceivably you could do better if you were willing to spend more time messing around with it.

If you're interested in image manipulation but can't shell out for high-end stuff, you might try some of the free alternatives like Paint.NET. I keep meaning to try this one but haven't, but it's supposed to be a step up from MS Paint although I don't know how it compares to, say, Photoshop.

Nothing compares to Photoshop, but if all you do is make shitty joke images to post on the internet MSPaint will do just fine.

Well you could make them look good in paint assuming you did it from scratch and not editing an image (as in making the whole box but in a stylized sprite style.) Otherwise there is paint.net, think photoshop but slightly less strong and with more ease of use lol.

Thanks for a few interesting suggestions. I was otherwise going to say that I'm open.

Here's Andyboy. His lettuce can Hyper Repair your units. (NOTE: The black-and-white on Andy was done with a program called IrfanView, which doesn't do to much.)

And also, I'll have to try these other programs, maybe even remake these 3 images!

After a 2-week bump, I present my best edit, but my lamest joke.

For those who don't get it, Sami's Japanese name translates to Domino. Not much else to say except your HQ would've been captured by a 1HP Infantry unit if not for Sami's nerfage.
