i feel kind of like a deadbeat dad right now. but, i really wanna come back and visit y'all, i love you way too much ): my highschool years were all CW

thing is, the community was so dead at one time i kinda just went on with my life and never turned back.
then i tried to come back, but every time i tried to open the new CW I got an error. Now, instead of huffing and puffing and being all "HEY WTF, CW DONT WORK!!" i actually figured out the problem and i'll be posting in the debug forum in a bit. It's a big issue that's p. much locking out half your prospective players, so yeah - I got things to do today though, so I've gotta post later and not now

i'm sorry i abandoned you, CW ): tell you what - gonna stick you up on my browser's toolbar so in the morning I see you and I'll never forget to check up on you <333

oh i totally used to play around with the SQL database so I could install forum mods, but um
i'm planning on learning about network administration, running servers etc. so in due time i'll be able to use jargon too and talk about
servers but right now, i know absolutely jack, lol

So who's running/funding CW nowadays? I'm kind of surprised (and disappointed in myself!) that it is still alive.

Evidently the CW stuff rides on the back end of WWN's gig.

No one really "runs" this place, though kiwi thinks it'd be highly amusing if he were admin.

Yeah, the only thing needed is the http://www.customwars.com domain name.

The site's contents however are hosted on the same account WWN is. Which I incidentally just paid for another two years
